Meet Julie

When I was a senior in high school I took an Intro to Aviation course from my local college. I knew the class was about airplanes, but that was about it.  I didn't realize it was an intro to becoming a pilot.  It was the first time in my life I was excited about a subject in school.  I jumped in with both feet and began the aviation program at Utah Valley University in 2003, the fall after graduating high school.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2006 and began flight instructing in 2007, where I found a love for teaching and helping others become pilots.  In 2012, I began flying for a regional airline, and in 2017, at the age of 31, I was hired at a major US airline.
